Who
Two people, Li and Mo. We have one machine, a De’Longhi EM450, and we make one cup a day on it. Every cup of ours on this site came out of that machine.
What this site is
Gear is ranked by the people who own it. Each owner answers one question, would you buy it again, and the list is the share who said no, the most regretted first. We do not rank anything ourselves.
Coffee is cups that we and other people actually made. Lines show how bitter and sour each cup was, and how sweet a flavored cup was. Three lines next to the maker’s name show their own tolerance.
Shop holds only what is on our own table and has been used there.
How we review
A person reviews each gear photo before that item counts as owned. Once you have approved gear, cups made with it can be published without a separate cup review. New coffee bags are checked separately. A percentage is shown only once ten reviewed owners have voted; until then the page says there are not enough owners.
How we make money
Links go to Amazon. There are no ads. If a sponsorship or a partnership ever appears, it will be labelled on the page where it appears. Rankings are not for sale.
What we don’t do
We do not write tasting notes. We do not review products. We do not accept payment for a place in a list.
