Pour-over, hot

Gesha Village Red Label (Ethiopian, light roast, washed). Pours a translucent rose-red — looks more like light red wine or black tea than coffee. Very fragrant, aroma jumps out of the cup. On the palate: bright fruit acidity, the juicy kind rather than sharp or sour, with noticeably less bitterness than typical coffee. Clean and light-bodied. Floral notes are supposedly there but subtle — haven't caught them yet.
